- White House Pledges to Address Antisemitism on Campuses Within Two Weeks
Around the country, Jewish students have been intimidated, targeted, and assaulted at their schools in the wake of Hamas’ October 7 massacre. Last night, the Biden Administration met with Jewish leaders, including Julie Rayman, AJC’s Managing Director of Policy and Political Affairs, and pledged to make a plan within two weeks to address the wave of rising, dangerous antisemitism across college campuses. AJC welcomes this step as we continue to work with school administrators to provide guidance and resources to help them respond to the situation and keep Jewish students safe.

The IDF also reported eliminating Ibrahim Biari, commander of Hamas’ Central Jabaliya Battalion. Earlier today, Yemen declared war on Israel after their Iran-backed Houthi rebels claimed responsibility for a series of ballistic missiles and drones launched against southern Israel.
- Homes In Paris Tagged with Jewish Stars
Jewish homes in Paris and surrounding areas have been marked with the Star of David, evoking painful memories of the Nazi era. In just three weeks since Hamas’ attack, France has registered twice the number of antisemitic acts compared to all of 2022. AJC’s Paris-based leaders, Simone Rodan-Benzaquen and Anne-Sophie Sebban-Bécache, have collectively made over 30 TV appearances, amplifying AJC’s message about rising antisemitism and Israel’s right to defend itself against Hamas.
